September 2009 - July 2010 // 'Dreams' with Eastchurch Primary //

I worked with a group of 40 pupils identified from Years 3-6 and the pupils had come with an idea for a product or service to market at the school fair in the summer. With the help of a Tesco Community Champion, myself and school teaching and ancillary staff, the pupils formed a company. The pupils visited a local supermarket to see enterprise in action and carry out some market research.

As a practitioner I helped them to create logos, a jingle and to decide on the product to sell which involved the marketing, costings and packaging. The children decided to make fruit smoothies. They were sold at the school fair with great success and a profit.
