As the lead artist in this project, I worked with a group of young people over five days to encourage them to explore colour via Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawing #1136. They interviewed artists and colour experts culminating in the production of a film.

The film documents a group of young people finding out about the deeper meaning of colour. It features experts from Canterbury Cathedral on stain glass windows, the Science Museum, London and various experts on colour and artists from around the United Kingdom.

This short film was played next to Sol LeWitt’s Wall Drawing #1136 at Turner Contemporary from 3 December 2013 to 8 June 2014.

This project is an ARTIST ROOMS On Tour funded project, in partnership with Arts Council England and the Art Fund.
